Roundtable Discussion: MAP Assessment in the Middle School

Mark Your Calendars

Wednesday, September 20 @8:15-8:45AM

During our Welcome Back Coffee, we shared that we've made a change to this year's MAP testing in the MS. Instead of testing twice a year, we have gone to testing MS students in the spring only. I shared many of the reason why this decision was made in an August letter to parents, but we invite you to join us (teachers and administrators) in a more in-depth conversation about why we made this decision about standardized testing at Quest Academy. No need to rsvp. We look forward to seeing you there.

First Offense:

The supervising teacher will ask student to put that food item back into their bag and wipe their table.

The student will go and get a lunch from Gourmet Gorilla, charged to Quest Academy.

The supervising teacher should give the student a letter (found in a folder in the lunchroom) explaining the infraction and a reminder of our policy, which should go home with the student.

The supervising teacher should let Phyllis know.

Phyllis will send an email to the student's parent (cc'ing the student's homeroom teacher or advisor) in addition to the letter home.
