Book Fair – Holiday Dessert Order Form

This year, we are taking pre-orders for holiday desserts offered for purchase through Barnes & Noble. A variety of whole cheesecakes, pies, and crumbles are available. Each dessert comes pre-sliced and can be frozen, making them very versatile. You can remove a few slices for a family dinner or several slices for dinner guests or a party.


Click here for ordering information and the order form. The order form is for use by you and/or your child(ren) to collect orders from family and friends. The pricing for each whole dessert is listed. Please return all orders to the front desk by November 11 for pick up before Thanksgiving (starting November 16) or by December 2 for pick up at the Quest book fair. All desserts may be picked up during the book fair any time between 9am – 9pm. If you cannot make it that day, Barnes & Noble will hold your order(s) for pick up at a later date.

Gourmet Gorilla Lunch Ordering

For the week of Thanksgiving, Gourmet Gorilla will be moving the ordering deadline to Tuesday, November 22 at midnight.


Most Likely To Succeed - Screening Friday, December 2, 6:15 pm

The acclaimed film Most Likely to Succeed offers an inspiring look at what students and teachers are capable of—if we have the vision and courage to transform our schools. Audience members call it the most compelling film ever done on the topic of school.


The purpose of this event is to foster meaningful discussion between educators and parents about how current obstacles can be overcome and steps towards change can be taken on a local level.


This event is open to the public. Please visit mltsfilm.orgfor more information about the film and movement. Tickets are available through Eventbrite, seating will be limited. This is a free event.

Both Girls' and Boys' Team Basketball will start the first week of November. The deadline to order basketball shorts has passed, but we might have an extra on hand. Check with Mr. Ryder if you want to register and need shorts. Don't forget, in order to join the team (and practice with the team) you must also have on file your child's sports physical form, concussion form, and waiver.

Please review the letter from Mrs. Halverson, it contains important information about registering for conferences through Pick-a-Time. Pick-a-Time will be open until October 19to take registrations. Remember that we have early dismissal at 2:45pm on Wednesday & Thursday next week due to conferences (After Care will run as usual on both days). Halloween Costume Drive
The Otter Class (preschool) is running a Halloween costume drive to benefit local families. In conjunction with Partners for Our Communities (POC), we're collecting gently used costumes that will be given to families who would otherwise be unable to celebrate Halloween. Bins are in the front lobby for donations. Partial and full costumes are equally welcome. Please donate by Friday, October 21. Thanks!

Middle School – AMC Arete Math Madness Competition

All middle school students are invited to participate in the AMC's annual Arete Math Madness Competition. Math Madness is an on-line math competition in which teams of middle school students from across the country compete head-to-head in a bracket-style play based on the March Madness tournament. Quest's team will meet on Thursdays from 3:30 -4:15 (except Tuesday the week of parent teacher conferences) in Ms. Howe's room. All you need is a Chromebook and a calculator.
