Open Gym For Basketball Program

Any girl or boy who is going to be a part of the basketball program (grade 6-8) is invited to open gym either Tuesday or Thursday from 7:30-8:00 AM. I arrive at school by 7:15 AM and will head to the gym as soon as I can, but 7:30 is the most likely start time.

This is meant to give an opportunity to get your basketball legs in better shape. This will be with little drill work. It's meant to scrimmage, work on shooting, and start basketball conditioning.

Open gym will start Tuesday, Oct. 4.

If anyone plans to start a FLL or already runs one and is willing to take on more students, please contact Tricia Angle or Donna Halverson.

Dismissal procedures

All dismissals are held from the gym or gym lobby. For regular dismissal, if you do not drive through the pick-up line, but instead come into the building, please wait at the gym lobby doors. This is also the procedure for all after school classes. Make sure you tell the nanny, grandparent, and all designated pick up people that they must go to the gym lobby and not wait in the front lobby. Thank you for your cooperation.

Reporting Absences

If a child is sick and needs to be absent, the parent should call the school before the start of the day on each day of the child's absence. A voicemail message may be left. The school is open between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please do not send your child to school if he or she is ill. Please report to the school if your child is discovered to have contracted a communicable disease.

Band Program (grades 4-8)
If your child has an interested in learning to play an instrument, here is the perfect opportunity. Please read this information about our Band Program offered through The Music Room in Palatine.
