Quest Academy is an independent, private institution accredited in good standing with the Independent Schools Association of the Central States
The Quest student community consists of 250 gifted and talented students in preschool through 8th grade from over 60 zip codes.
Quest Academy is a member of the Lake Michigan Association of Independent Schools, Illinois Association of Gifted Children, National Association for Gifted Children, and several area chambers of commerce.
Extended Care is available to families before school as early as 7:00am and after school as late as 6:00pm.
Small class sizes in all grades and subjects results in a
faculty-student ratio of 7:1 to ensure that all children are known and nurtured.
The school year typically begins just before Labor Day and ends the last week of May. Quest operates on an academic trimester system.
The Quest Academy campus consists of a large main building with over 42,000 sq feet of learning space, extension classrooms for our youngest learners, music studio, and a 2-acre West Campus featuring athletic and outdoor classroom facilities, including raised gardens maintained by the students, soccer field, basketball court, amphitheater, nature walking path, and an environmental science study section.
Need-based financial assistance is available up to 50% of the cost of tuition for Quest families who qualify. 30% of families receive some level of assistance.
In addition to the core academic subject areas, students benefit from a full learning experience that includes instruction in Spanish, STEAM, Makerspace, Art, Music, Drama, and Physical Education.
After school activities include competitive sports such as cross country, track, soccer, and basketball. Clubs, enrichment classes, and competition teams include: Chess, Karate, Math Facts, Drone Challenge Team, Bollywood Dancing, LEGO Robotics, Science Olympiad, Scholastic Bowl, Hindi Language, Minecraft, Video Game Lab, Coding, Board Games and Jewelry Making, Create, Solve, Escape, Improv, Theater Lighting Tech, and more!
