About My Museum
My Museum was imagined, constructed, and hosted by children in preschool through 3rd grade. It is the only museum that is built by kids, for kids. Each exhibit is both educational and play-based, which fosters curiosity, innovation, and imagination. There is no age limit to visit the museum, but the exhibit experiences are designed for younger learners aged 6 and under.
My Museum was founded by Mr. Gary Mann and is part of the Quest Academy campus. The museum is open to the public one Friday a month during the school year and more frequently during the summer. It’s a great playdate destination for toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners. Come visit this unique space where children can play with purpose, explore their creativity, and encourage higher learning.
My Museum is located at 500 N. Benton Street in Palatine, Illinois. Free parking is available in the plaza parking lot.

My Museum Art & Play Dates 2026-2027
Join us for My Museum Art & Play, a free monthly program for young children and their caregivers! Led by Mr. Gary Mann, founder of My Museum and Quest Academy's Lower School Art Teacher, each session offers hands-on art activities, imaginative play, and opportunities for children to explore, create and connect in a fun, welcoming envirvonment.
