"Quest Academy showed me firsthand how creative and passionate teachers can send a student on a lifelong trajectory of high achievement and love of learning. I hope to keep working on federal education policy issues after graduating from Georgetown Law to help all kids have a chance at a great education like the one I had at Quest."

During the year after I graduated from the University of Chicago, I worked with Education Reform Now, a non-profit that advocates greater access to better schools for children across the country. It's no coincidence: Quest Academy showed me firsthand how creative and passionate teachers can send a student on a lifelong trajectory of high achievement and love of learning. I hope to keep working on federal education policy issues after graduating from Georgetown Law to help all kids have a chance at a great education like the one I had at Quest.

I auditioned for every play possible at Quest, and that didn't change through high school. In college, I joined University of Chicago's renowned improv comedy troupe "Off-Off Campus" and had a blast. There isn't much time for theater in law school, but I'll find a way back on stage sooner or later.

It's been ten years, and I still haven't figured out how to avoid Craig Stubing. (Just kidding. We're in touch because, even though he's steadily taking over Hollywood, he hasn't figured out how to get rid of me yet.)
