Preparing for Kindergarten at Quest Academy

Children entering kindergarten - both new and returning students - are required to complete an IQ assessment with an authorized and certified testing professional. The minimum testing requirement is a full-scale IQ of 125. The testing results must be submitted to the Quest Academy enrollment office before a contract will be offered for the 2019-2020 school year.

To better prepare you for what to expect with the testing, the enrollment team has arranged to host IQ testing professionals for a Meet & Greet event on Thursday, November 29th from 8:45 am - 10:00 am. More information will come out to you closer to the event, but please plan to attend if you would like to ask questions, meet some of our authorized testers, and learn more about enrolling in kindergarten.

High School Happenings

Please know that the calendars are updated with new information as it is received.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the High School Fair last Thursday. It was a well-attended event, both in high school representation and families and students. Our Quest students, as always, impressed me with their interest and maturity, as they asked poignant questions of the various school representatives. Many of the schools left informational pamphlets and materials with me, so if there is a school you missed, or if you missed the event but would like to look at some information, please contact me and I can send some home with your student.

Many of our students will be taking placement tests this Saturday as District 211, Culver Academy and Thatcher School are holding their placement exams. All of us here at Quest have every confidence that our students will do well in their exams.

Knghts on the Run Family 4K and Family Picnic

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Knights on the Run Family 4K last Sunday! A great time was had by all. Congratulations to all of our participants for completing the race with smiles on your faces -- and especially our top finishers, Nadia D (MS girl), Josh P (MS boy), Ahtziri D (LS girl), Gael D (LS boy), Mrs. Lorena Diaz (Mom), Mr. Mike Disbrow (Father), Gabriel V (Friend of Quest), Mrs. Jen Fabsik (Faculty), and Mr. Joe Panicker (1st stroller). The middle and lower school students who were the top "Sponsor Me" fundraisers will be announced and honored at the Quest pageant on Monday, October 15th. Thank you also to our 34 sponsors for this year's event! We are proud to have these companies partner with our school and encourage all of our families to support them throughout the year.

Also a tremendous thank you to all of the families that participated in the All-School family picnic on Sunday afternoon. We especially want to thank our Board of Trustees for hosting the event, in addition to manning the grills and overseeing the giant inflatables! Our students not only loved the obstacle course, bouncy house, and giant slide, they also had tons of fun playing games with Brian the Entertainer, watching an incredible performance by Ben's Bubble Show, making wind socks with Mrs. Hoffmann, and getting faces painted by RC Juggles.

Finally, a generous and heartfelt thank you to all of the volunteers who made these two events possible, especially Quest parents Kim Thompson, Anne Sebastian Panicker, and Mica Cataletto. Your tireless efforts on behalf of the Quest Kingdom make our school a better place and are very much appreciated.
